Nidoking's Crystal Types β Lightning, Fire, and Fighting β give it a versatility that mirrors its game counterpart's massive movepool. Saitou renders the Poison King surrounded by crackling energy in three colors, creating a threatening presence that fills the card.
Of the three Aquapolis Crystals, Nidoking is the least expensive but arguably the most underrated. Gen I nostalgia for Nidoking has grown significantly, and its Crystal version represents one of the most affordable entry points into Crystal collecting.
