CardShrine is a free resource built by collectors, for collectors. We believe every serious collector deserves access to deep, well-researched information about the cards they love — without a paywall.

To keep CardShrine free, we participate in affiliate programs with trusted marketplaces including eBay (through the eBay Partner Network) and TCGPlayer (through their affiliate program via Impact). This means that when you click certain links on our site and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you.

Specifically, links labeled "Search on eBay," "View on TCGPlayer," "View Sold Listings," and similar calls to action throughout the site may contain affiliate tracking codes. If you click one of these links and subsequently purchase a card or product, CardShrine receives a percentage of the sale as a referral commission.

Our editorial content is never influenced by affiliate relationships. We write about cards because they matter to collectors — not because of commission potential.

We want to be completely transparent about this: affiliate commissions are what allow us to spend time researching, writing, and maintaining CardShrine. The prices, population data, and editorial opinions on this site are based on our own research and collecting experience. We do not accept payment from grading companies, marketplaces, or sellers to feature specific cards or influence our coverage.

What this means for you: Nothing changes about your purchase. You pay the same price whether you click through from CardShrine or go directly to eBay or TCGPlayer. The only difference is that a small portion of the marketplace's fee is shared with us as a thank-you for the referral.

Programs we participate in:

eBay Partner Network — We earn a commission (typically 1–4% depending on category) when you click an affiliate link and complete a qualifying purchase on eBay within 24 hours.

TCGPlayer Affiliate Program — We earn a commission (3.5% per sale) when you click an affiliate link and complete a purchase on TCGPlayer.
