Luigi Pikachu is the green counterpart to Mario Pikachu — Pikachu in Luigi's signature green hat and outfit. Released in the same October 2016 window, but in a separate green Luigi-themed box.
While slightly less valuable than its Mario counterpart (Luigi has always played second fiddle), the card has its own devoted following. The full-art 296/XY-P version captures Pikachu's personality beautifully in Luigi's timid, wide-eyed style.
The pair together represents the complete Nintendo-Pokémon crossover set and displays beautifully as a matched pair — red and green, Mario and Luigi, both Pikachu.
Every Mario needs a Luigi. The green counterpart completes the most iconic crossover in Pokémon card history.
